not using screen manager

So i've been developing a game and haven't been using a screen manager (i probably could but it would set me back quite a bit)

 

can your code be used without using a screen manager?

 

mainly i'm looking at the following lines of code: 

ScreenManager.Game.Components.Add(sharedSaveDevice);

ScreenManager.AddScreen(new MainMenuScreen(), PlayerIndex.One);

 ScreenManager.Game.Components.Add(

                new Microsoft.Xna.Framework.GamerServices.GamerServicesComponent(ScreenManager.Game));

Put the following lines in your Game1.cs constructor.

Components.Add(sharedSaveDevice);
Components.Add(new Microsoft.Xna.Framework.GamerServices.GamerServicesComponent(this));

You can ignore the line: 

ScreenManager.AddScreen(new MainMenuScreen(), PlayerIndex.One);

It's just the screenmanager calling a new menu screen.
